UWEC staff gets first aid training |

 UWEC staff under training by Red Cross You can now be sure of first aid treatment while at UWEC in case of any accident during your stay. The Uganda Red Cross Society, Entebbe has trained UWEC staff with skills in handling accidents that may occur to visitors at the Centre. Later, staff was also taken through drills to assess their capacity in handling causalities. |

Equity Bank joins Friends of UWEC |

 Equity MD Charles Nalyali hands over cheque Equity Bank-Uganda has joined the Friends of UWEC. The bank has contributed five million Uganda Shillings towards the Friends of UWEC programme (FUWEC). FUWEC is an annual program designed to involve the general public in boosting self sustainability of Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. This programme involves individuals, families, schools, churches, expatriates, diplomatic missions, corporate companies. |

 Kiri at the UWEC quarantine station Among the new arrivals at UWEC is Kiri, the chimp. She will smile back when you smile at her. She will shake your hand when you offer her something to eat. She has her right hand fingers fringed. This is our amazing newcomer at the Centre. |
